Version 7 - How can BlueNote send notifications to my smartphone or watch?
To turn on Notifications, go to BlueNote and choose Menu>Alert Manager.
Once inside the Alert Manager, toggle the Notifications setting to "On."
With the notifications tab activated, you'll need to choose the method of delivery of your Mobile Device Notification.
Text Messaging/SMS Message:
If you want Lights to be received as a Text Message, under Mobile device choose "Send as SMS Message." Type in your mobile number, choose your Mobile Provider from the drop-down list, and press "Next."
The mobile number entered will be sent a Verification Code. Enter this code as shown and press "Save."
Once you've verified, you'll be prompted to go back to the Alert Manager Lights to customize your Light notifications.
All SMS notifications will be turned off, as indicated by a red button. Toggle each of the Light's corresponding SMS buttons to Green. Once the SMS is turned on for a Light, any time that Light is activated on the NoteBoard, a notification will be sent as a text message to that mobile device.
Email Messaging:
If you want your Lights to be received as an email message, under Mobile Device choose "Send as Email Message." Type in your email address and press "Next."
The email address entered will receive a Verification Code. Enter this code as shown and press "Save."
Once you've verified, you'll be prompted to go back to the Alert Manager Lights to customize your Light notifications.
All Email notifications will be turned off, as indicated by a red button. Toggle each of the Light's corresponding Email buttons to Green. Once the Email is turned on for a Light, any time that Light is activated on the NoteBoard, a notification will be sent as an email to that mobile device.
